Experience

Camilla joined VVGB in 2022 as a trade law consultant. Since then, she has acted for clients in 20+ trade defence proceedings conducted by the European Commission and the UK Trade Remedies Authority. Most recently, she co-represented the Dingli Group in the anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of Mobile Access Equipment from China, helping them to achieve the best result among all investigated companies. She has also co-represented the Chinese Government and different groups of Chinese companies in the EU anti-subsidy investigation concerning imports of Battery Electric Vehicles from China.

Camilla also assists VVGB in representing clients before EU courts. At the moment, she is assisting Joris Cornelis, Folkert Graafsma and Edwin Vermulst in five ongoing cases before the General Court.

Additionally, Camilla regularly advises clients on a wide range of international trade, private international law and regulatory issues, including new EU regulatory instruments, such as the EU Deforestation Regulation.

Before joining VVGB, Camilla completed her legal studies in England (LL.B. in International and EU Law; LL.M. in International Commercial Law; and Bar Professional Training Course). She was ranked first in her LL.B. course and was awarded a prize for the best performance of her year.  She was sponsored via two scholarships to undertake the Bar exams and was subsequently awarded the Lincoln’s Inn Buchanan Prize for achieving outstanding results. Camilla worked as a general legal advisor in the UK and as a trainee at the EFTA Court in Luxemburg.

She is fluent in Italian and English.

Camilla is a member of the Bar of England and Wales but has not completed pupillage.
