Experience
Emma joined VVGB in 2026 as an associate in the trade law department.
Prior to joining VVGB, Emma completed her legal studies at KU Leuven, where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws with a specialisation in Political Sciences and a Master of Laws. During her studies, she participated in an Erasmus exchange programme at the Università degli Studi di Firenze. She then obtained an LL.M. in International Business Law at the Université libre de Bruxelles, where she wrote her master’s thesis with a particular focus on sanctions law.
She subsequently gained experience at EU institutional level through an internship in the office of a Member of the European Parliament, contributing to legislative and policy work.
